Additionally, the team received a workshop update from the Parent Facilitator regarding Georgia Milestones, and the Chairperson proposed the installation of covered stands at school bus stops to improve student safety. The meeting also included a acknowledgment of a departing parent representative for their service.

The discussion items included a report on the school garden, including the use of fresh produce in the cafeteria and the status of the remaining budget. Members were reminded of an upcoming SCAP meeting and the need to update the membership contact list. The meeting schedule for the next academic year was established, with the next session set for August.
