Manchester Public Schools Equity-Informed School Climate Assessment
This document presents an Equity-Informed School Climate Assessment (EISCA) for Manchester Public Schools (MPS), conducted in collaboration with RE-Center, Race & Equity in Education. The assessment's purpose is to identify and report on institutional and systemic inequities impacting students, staff, and families from currently and historically marginalized groups, including those based on race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, disability, language, and religion. It synthesizes stakeholder experiences to provide insights and recommendations that will guide the development of a strategic action plan to foster an equitable, safe, and accessible school climate where all members can thrive and achieve equality in educational outcomes.
