State Board for Community Colleges Regular Meeting
The Board received reports on the Community College Workforce Alliance, the Virginia Business Higher Education Council, the strategic plan, and the JLARC report regarding the changing higher education landscape. The Board approved several items, including workforce policy updates, G3 and FastForward program approvals, degree program name changes for Mountain Empire Community College and Camp Community College, and the internal audit charter. Additionally, the Board authorized the extension of the Chancellor's contract and approved the conveyance of property parcels to the JSRCC Real Estate Foundation.
