The committee reviewed the three-year safety audit findings, which indicated the district is in compliance with emergency operations and maintains a strong safety culture. Discussion topics included recommended facility and security upgrades such as additional fencing and signage, the scheduling of summer patrols, the transition of the School Resource Officer role at the high school, and the update of Emergency Operations Plans and reunification site MOUs. The committee also covered the status of the SAFE grant for fencing projects, successful campus door audits, campus drill compliance, and the annual threat assessment reporting. Additionally, the meeting addressed the management of PPE supplies and the establishment of campus trauma teams, concluding with information regarding upcoming Psychological First Aid training for staff.
