They also approved ASBA personnel and district policy updates, the 2023-2024 financial audit, and recommendations for student expulsion. Additionally, they approved janitorial contracts, hired new teachers, and reorganized the board, including nominations for President, Vice President, and Secretary/Disbursing Officer.

The Northeast Claiborne Charter School's Local Literacy Plan focuses on improving literacy instruction through high-quality foundational instruction, strategic intervention, and data-driven approaches. The plan sets student-focused, teacher-focused, and program-focused goals, aiming for a 10% or more increase in student growth as measured by the 2024-25 testing cycle. Teacher goals center on utilizing Tier 2 strategies to ensure reading standards mastery, while program goals focus on implementing a literacy-based curriculum with fidelity. The plan outlines a literacy team, action steps for implementing literacy curriculum and assessments, professional development opportunities, family engagement strategies, and alignment with other school initiatives.
