Certificates of recognition were presented to the 2025 Alcoa Boys Baseball Team and the 2025 Alcoa High School Ladies Softball Team. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Finance Director Brittany Spence. The board approved the donation of Axon Taser 7 units to the Blount Memorial Hospital Security Department, authorized actions supporting Realty Link's refinancing, and approved Task Order 3 with Gresham Smith. An ordinance amending the zoning ordinance was passed. The board also rescinded a motion to reappoint Mr. Eddie Tramel to the City of Alcoa Public Building Authority and reappointed him to the City of Alcoa Industrial Development Board.

The meeting included a public hearing for adopting the annual budget and tax rate for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. An ordinance adopting the annual budget and tax rate was passed on the second reading. Additionally, an ordinance to amend the budget of the City of Alcoa for the fiscal year 2024-2025 was passed on the first reading.

The Board of Commissioners convened to address the hotel privilege tax, which involved repealing the existing tax enacted under Resolution R03-025 and replacing it with a new ordinance.
