The agenda includes status reports and obligation statements regarding the American Rescue Plan Act and Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds. The committee will review work program revisions, various grants, and transfers between budget accounts. Additionally, the committee will discuss the status of the contingency account balance, consider requests for allocations from the contingency account for several state departments including the Office of the Secretary of State, Department of Corrections, and Department of Veterans Services, and review a request for transfer from the foreclosure mediation assistance account. Informational updates regarding the Home Means Nevada Initiative and the CORE.NV project are also scheduled.

The Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Strategic Plan 2023-2027 outlines a roadmap to reduce the burden of chronic disease in Nevada and guide the work of the program within the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. It is built upon five strategic goals: expanding evidence-based primary prevention efforts, reducing health inequities, generating timely data for action, supporting policies that promote wellness, and strengthening partnerships. The overarching vision is to achieve wellness for all Nevadans through integrated primary prevention, health equity, useful data, evidence-based policy, and strong collaborations.

The agenda includes discussions on future meeting topics, agency updates from the State Department of Agriculture, and an overview of Nevada agriculture trends, challenges, and contributions. The committee will also receive updates on outdoor recreation and the outdoor recreation economy in Nevada. Additionally, the committee will discuss Pinyon and Juniper woodland management and its impact on rural economic development.

The meeting agenda includes presentations on employment and age discrimination, Nevada's priorities regarding Alzheimer's disease, and federal initiatives concerning senior citizens. Additionally, the committee will review the Vulnerable Adult Fatality Review Committee report, discuss home- and community-based waivers, and receive an overview from the Office of the Attorney for the Rights of Older Persons and Persons with Disabilities. Further topics include the prevalence of unhoused seniors, food insecurity, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and a discussion regarding future meeting topics.

The agenda includes the review of various administrative regulations submitted by state agencies, including the Comstock Historic District Commission, Department of Human Services, State Board of Education, and Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association.
