Finance & Rules Committee Committee Minutes
The committee meeting covered a presentation on 2026 strategic priorities and an overview of the new Artificial Intelligence policy and training program. The committee reviewed and sponsored numerous resolutions, including amendments to the 2025 and 2026 county budgets, agreements with the New York State Board of Elections for various grants, the transfer of a County Safety Officer position, the adoption of AI administrative policies, and the extension of agreements for workers' compensation and short-term rental management. Additionally, the committee approved various resolutions sponsored by the General Services and Health & Human Services committees related to infrastructure, emergency services, airport improvements, and community health and social services programs.
