Attendees participated in small group discussions reflecting on encouraging aspects, questions, and feedback regarding early learning support. The Board's determination following the conversation included commending the district's progress, directing the Superintendent to enhance communication strategies regarding program access for parents and students, and developing next steps to better communicate the role and purpose of early learning assessments like WAKIDS.

The meeting agenda included a welcome, an overview of ongoing construction projects such as the River Ridge High School Modernization, Bower Learning Center updates, and progress on the RMAC South Project. Key discussion points covered the Capital Projects Planning and Prioritization process, which involves developing an updated Six-Year Capital Facilities Plan based on enrollment projections, facility needs, and funding options. The committee also conducted a tour of Lakes Elementary School.
