The Plan Commission discussed several agenda items including the approval of a Comprehensive Plan amendment for a property located at 900 W. Drexel Avenue, the review of an amended site plan for a multi-tenant commercial building at 7935 S. Main Street, the approval of plans for a ground-mounted solar energy collection system at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, the approval of a Planned Sign Program for an industrial building, and a sign appeal for a temporary real estate sign for the Millwood Glen subdivision.

The council meeting addressed several municipal matters, including the presentation of snow and ice control awards and the consideration of resolutions related to sustainable transportation funding and the release of storm drainage and utility easements at 2201 West Southbranch Boulevard. The council designated an official city newspaper for the upcoming 12-month term and approved final contract payments and workmanship for the Fire Station No. 3 apparatus bay roof replacement project. Furthermore, various mayoral appointments for commissions and boards were reviewed, license committee actions were discussed, and a vendor summary report was submitted for approval.

The agenda includes motions regarding fees for tourism events and a grant request for cricket. Additionally, the commission will receive informational updates regarding a library grant request and upcoming tourism events, as well as an informational discussion regarding the next steps for the DDPMP.
