East Shore Leadership Academy Board of Directors Budget Hearing and Annual Organizational Meeting Minutes
The Board conducted a budget hearing and an annual organizational meeting. Discussions included the presentation and review of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school service and general appropriation budget resolutions, covering enrollment projections, staff wage increases, fund balances, and healthcare benefit adjustments. During the annual organizational segment, the Board elected officers, appointed directors, designated depositories and authorized signatures, appointed legal counsel and auditing firms, set meeting schedules, and established various compliance liaisons. Monthly reports were provided regarding financial status, marketing strategies, student enrollment, and academic growth results. Additional business included approvals for building and grounds maintenance, electrical upgrades, ESSER III expenditure adjustments, and amendments to the contract with Bold Education Connections.
