The work session included updates on the Leadership Melissa program, school zone signage and ordinance, the 89th Legislative Session, and city hall renovations. The regular meeting covered a consent agenda including minutes approval, ordinance amendments, resolutions for facade grants and land conveyance, and a public hearing scheduling. The regular agenda also included discussions on annexation agreements, ordinance amendments for subdivisions and engineering design manuals, an executive session on economic development negotiations, and public comments. The Planning & Zoning Commission agenda includes reviewing minutes from previous meetings, site plan recommendations for Intuitive Health Melissa, Legacy Ranch Plaza, Bucees Blvd. Retail, and Buc-ees Addition Replat, as well as a Melissa Road Commercial Conveyance Plat. Public hearings will be held to consider rezoning requests for properties on McKinney Street, Milrany Ln, and County Road 1217, and amendments to Planned Development Ordinances for properties on Milrany Ln and Throckmorton Road. Additional agenda items include a rezoning request for a property on Sam Rayburn Highway, and site plan recommendations for Melissa Wellness Village Phase 2 and Melissa Village Addition. Discussions will also be held regarding the Sign Ordinance and Planning and Zoning Recommended Cases.
