The resolution included appointing Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, as underwriter and Murray Barnes Finister LLP as bond counsel and disclosure counsel, as well as waiving the performance audit requirement. The board approved the resolution.

The Lee County Board of Commissioners convened to discuss several key issues. Public hearings were held regarding zoning applications for residential development, conditional use for an urgent care clinic, and variances for residential streets. The board also discussed property assessments, updates on county projects, and approved the Holiday Calendar and Meeting Calendar for 2026, as well as the FY2026-2027 Budget Calendar. Additionally, they awarded the bid for the 2025 LRA Road Projects, approved the CDBG Language Access Plan, and authorized the transfer of a surplus truck to the Town of Sumner, Georgia. The public forum addressed concerns about property tax assessments and the need for validation of the data used in the valuation process.
