This volume, Benchmarking Analysis and Best Practices, specifically focuses on comparing parking fees, researching hybrid work policies and campus shuttle systems, and outlining Key Performance Indicators for effective parking management.
The committee reviewed updates regarding provincial funding for STEM initiatives, recent labor settlements, and advancement activities, which included discussions on private research grants, philanthropic definitions, and fundraising campaign strategies. Formal approvals were granted for the establishment of new graduate academic certificates in nuclear safety and technology, as well as new graduate degree programs in AI analytics and management. Additionally, the committee approved the closure of an undergraduate diploma program.
The council discussed the return to campus and the efficacy of virtual learning tools. The Executive Committee reported on an extension policy for the McMaster Student Absence Form. The Awards Committee secured approval for new awards, bursaries, and revisions to existing award terms. The Certificates and Diplomas Committee obtained approval for the establishment of a Full-Stack Development Diploma and several professional learning certificates in UX/UI design and software development. The Curriculum and Admissions Committee oversaw the establishment of new interdisciplinary minors and combined programs, the transfer of biochemistry programs between faculties, and various curriculum revisions, degree designation changes, and program name adjustments across multiple academic faculties.

The Joint Committee on Certificates, Diplomas and Microcredentials received approval for revisions to several concurrent certificate programs and the Business Administration diploma.
