The council approved the second readings of Administrative Procedures regarding Emeritus Status and Financial Aid, along with Category 1 updates for several procedures concerning students in the military, record withholding, counseling, and student equity. Additionally, the first reading for the Student Success and Support Program administrative procedure was approved. The committee received reports from various subcommittees including budget, data evaluation, and diversity and equity groups. The Council discussed the adoption of Administrative Procedure 3775 regarding the operational and administrative use of artificial intelligence and finalized the College Planning Council Handbook for the upcoming academic year. Emeritus status nominations for several classified and confidential employees were reviewed and approved. Leadership provided updates on the college's application for a Baccalaureate Degree in Casino and Integrated Resort Management, progress toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing pathway, and general institutional achievements, including enrollment growth and campus construction. Additionally, subcommittee reports were received, and activities related to AANHPI Heritage Month were highlighted.
