The Board meeting included a full review of the case of Angus MacFarlane regarding a potential release. The Board evaluated his history, mental health treatment, risk assessments, and housing preferences. Ultimately, the Board recommended against his release, noting concerns about his limited progress toward rehabilitation, the need for significant external structure due to his mental health, and the uncertainty regarding his risk of future violence.
