The board approved several personnel actions, including administrative and classified staff employment, resignations and retirements, certified staff resignations, employment, salary upgrades and corrections, and continuing contracts. The board also approved supplemental staff resignations and employment. An executive session was held to discuss the employment of a public employee or official. Finally, the board approved a public notice for a public meeting regarding the re-employment of the Deputy Superintendent.

The meeting included a presentation recognizing winter sports achievements. The board approved the March 2023 financial packet, residency requests, and early graduation requests. There was a discussion and approval of partnering with Head Start to expand the WCS PreK program. The board also approved several personnel actions, including resignations and employment of classified and certified staff. The meeting included presentations, public participation, and discussions on financial statements, bill approvals, and investments. The board also discussed establishing the organizational and regular BOE meeting for January 2023, appointing a President Pro-Tem, and approving an overnight trip for the WYHS Varsity Cheer Team. Personnel matters were addressed, including confidential classified employment, certified employment and resignations, classified employment, resignation and leave of absence, and C. Ray Williams resignation. An executive session was held to discuss the Superintendent's evaluation process.
