City Council City Council Meeting
The City Council meeting included the appointment of a new Police Officer and several public hearings regarding amendments to parking and stopping regulations. Financial approvals were made for warrants and budget transfers. Significant actions included authorizing grant agreements, approving change orders for road and drainage improvements, and awarding professional service contracts for audit services and architectural/engineering services. The Council authorized various intermunicipal cooperation agreements with the County of Nassau for fire department equipment, stadium repairs, and athletic field improvements. Several personnel appointments were approved across the Department of Public Works, Golf Course, EMS, and Youth Services and Recreation departments.
