Town Council of the Town of Glocester Meeting Minutes
The council meeting addressed several personnel actions, including the honorary promotion of a retiring police officer, the promotions of police personnel to Lieutenant and Captain, the appointment of a full-time dispatcher, and the appointment of an interim Finance Director. Other business included the approval of an employment agreement amendment, the discussion and removal of Flock surveillance cameras, boards and commission appointments and resignations, and the disbandment of the Charter Review Commission. The council also authorized a resolution to support the Community Septic Loan Program, approved grant fund advances for septic improvements, addressed insurance requirement changes for septic installers, and ratified a union contract for town clerks. Additionally, the council convened into executive session to discuss pending litigation and collective bargaining.
