St. Tammany Parish Council Council Meeting
The Council meeting included the presentation of proclamations for an employee of the month and for a high school competition cheer team. Discussions were held regarding a donation to the parish animal shelter and the introduction of a junior council member. The new library director for the St. Tammany Parish Library System was introduced. Additionally, the Council recognized a long-serving member of the Fire District 7 board for their service. Appointments were made for a member to the St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Abatement District and for a seat on the Board of Zoning Adjustments.
