This document is the County of Lexington's Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (2020-2024), mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. It identifies five primary impediments to fair housing: limited affordable housing, lack of fair housing awareness, insufficient housing for special needs, elderly, disabled, and homeless populations, economic opportunities affecting housing choice, and various barriers limiting housing opportunities.
