Spartanburg County Board of Zoning Appeals Minutes
The board discussed the election of officers, specifically the nomination and approval of the secretary. The primary agenda item involved an appeal by 300 Jones Road Associates, LLC regarding the denial of their development application for an industrial building project. Staff explained the denial was based on deficiencies in the site plan and application requirements, rather than the proposed land use. The applicant argued that deficiencies were corrected within the statutory review period and sought reversal of the denial. After deliberation regarding the application of the Uniform Land Management Ordinance and procedural history, the board voted unanimously to uphold the staff's decision to deny the application.
