The board opened various firearm bids to be awarded at a future meeting. They approved the 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project, the 2025 CDBG Professional and Administrative Services Agreement, and an amendment to the 2023 CDBG agreement. Additionally, the board approved requests for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, a tower site license agreement for the Lambs Gap Tower, and the acquisition of a PDF/A conversion tool for the Register and Recorder’s Office. A renewal agreement for county-wide IT support and services was authorized. Personnel actions included the appointment of a new Director for EMA/911 and the transition of a clerk to the Newport Magisterial District Justice.
