This report synthesizes community input regarding the 133-acre Amberley Green, aiming to move beyond 'either/or' debates to a strategy of 'Creative Stewardship'. It proposes balancing preservation with activation, tradition with evolution, and aspirations with fiscal realities. The plan outlines key resident priorities such as fiscal responsibility, environmental protection, active recreation, and family-friendly amenities. Recommendations include sharing findings, pursuing strategic partnerships for preservation and amenity development, and resolving community conflicts like dog usage, to ensure Amberley Green remains a valued community asset that protects its character while creating practical opportunities for the future.
The committee reviewed August financials, noting revenue and expenses compared to the previous year, and discussed the Unencumbered General Fund Balance.
