This document outlines CU Boulder's commitment to becoming a health-promoting university by prioritizing the well-being of its students, faculty, and staff, guided by the Okanagan Charter. The strategic direction focuses on fostering a culture of well-being, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of campus life. Key initiatives include developing a five-year strategic plan to guide campus policies, mapping existing wellness strategies, launching a new employee wellness application, creating a forum for community input, and compiling a database of health-related research. The overarching goal is to support individuals in achieving their full potential in teaching, learning, working, and research, and to improve the health of the community and the planet by promoting health equity, social justice, access, and sustainability.
