Otter Student Union At Csu Monterey Bay Board Of Directors Organizational And Business Meeting Minutes
The board meeting covered several operational and strategic topics. A guest speaker, President Carlos Vargas, discussed empowering student leadership and improving campus communication. New business included the appointment of an alumni representative, potential film collaborations, updates on the RecRe box utilization, and a review of the student union project list. The board established two new advisory committees: the Art & Wellness Committee and the Engagement Committee. Additionally, updates were provided on the OC3 staff initiatives, upcoming campus events such as RAFT Weekend, the fifth anniversary celebration of the student union, and esports lounge activities.
