School Committee Agenda
The Abington School Committee meeting included discussion and reports on various topics. The Assistant Superintendent presented a report on the 2024-2025 MCAS results for grades 3-6 ELA, Math, and Science, as well as secondary science, civics, math, and ELA. Policy considerations were reviewed, including the Middle School Pathway Exploration Policy, collaboration with South Shore Regional Vocational Technical HS, and the Massachusetts Competency Determination Policy. The strategic plan for 2024-2029 was updated, focusing on strategic objectives and initiatives related to teaching & learning, communication, culture & inclusion, and district operations.
