Public Safety And Justice Subcommittee Meeting
The subcommittee discussed the annual blockwatch grant awards, approving the recommendations as well as two additional items. Furthermore, a presentation was conducted regarding the proposed Phoenix fireworks ordinance, which aims to repeal and replace the current city code, strengthen enforcement capabilities, and establish new restricted firework zones near mountain preserves and parks. An online tool is under development to help residents identify restricted areas.
