City of Auburn Plan Commission Plan Commission Meeting
The commission held a public hearing regarding a rezoning request for the property located at 608 South Main Street. The applicant sought to reclassify the zoning from traditional residential district to institutional district to allow for the establishment of a real estate office. Discussions primarily centered on off-street parking requirements, the feasibility of accommodating parking in the rear yard area, and ensuring the proposal remains consistent with the city's future land use plans. Staff recommended that the commission forward the rezoning request to the common council with a favorable recommendation.
