City Council Of The City Of East Peoria Regular Meeting
The Council reviewed and approved several resolutions and ordinances, including the payment of scheduled bills, a proposal for a bi-directional amplifier system for the police station, the purchase of Christmas decorations, and a land lease agreement. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the adoption of an updated floodplain ordinance and associated maps, necessitated by FEMA regulations to ensure property owners retain access to federally backed mortgages. Furthermore, the Council authorized several infrastructure projects, including slip lining a storm sewer, renting equipment for a water main replacement, and concrete repairs.
