Tarrant Regional Water District Meeting Minutes
The Board discussed and received updates on the comprehensive Floodway Study, master plan concepts, and recreational issues. Actions taken included authorizing a contract for electricity purchase for 2002, approving the final payment and release of retainage for the Beach Street Low Water Dam project, and contracting for internal pipeline inspection and GIS mapping. The Board also renewed a three-year service agreement for SCADA technical support, called for an election to fill two Board of Director positions, and approved a contract with the County Elections Administrator's Office to conduct said election. Additionally, the Board authorized the purchase of various vehicles and equipment for multiple departments, rescinded a previous award of an oil and gas lease due to non-compliance, reviewed updated District ordinances, and discussed a quarterly video update and the Corp of Engineer's Floodway Inspection Report.
