The committee addressed various traffic and safety concerns, including the maintenance of 'No Parking' signs on N 19th St and Sheridan Road. Discussions were held regarding ordinances for golf carts and e-bikes, with e-bike regulations tabled until the next meeting. The committee received public input on speeding and noise complaints in the Ludington Park area and at the boat launch. Additional actions included the approval of 'Autistic Child' signs for a residence, an upgrade to city-wide truck route signage, and the approval of the meeting schedule for the upcoming year.

The board discussed ongoing property maintenance, including pest control services, adjustments and training regarding the air handler, and potential strategies for smoke detection and management. Additionally, the commission decided to solicit bids for parking lot repair and sealing, and approved a request for the MMRMA to use an elevator for first responder training. The meeting also included a formal acknowledgment of a departing Commissioner's term.

The council conducted public hearings and adopted Ordinance No. 1320, the Appropriations Ordinance, which includes a millage rate of 17.442 mills, and Ordinance No. 1321, the Tax Levy Ordinance. Additionally, the council passed Resolution No. 26-08, which supports the final project planning document for the Wells Township water system expansion.

The board scheduled a regular meeting to conduct its routine business regarding public safety retirement matters.

The council discussed various infrastructure and municipal projects, including repairs to the Escanaba Marina dock, construction of a pavilion and cement pads for the Webster Splash Park, and the construction of a restroom facility at the Municipal Dock. The council also addressed public hearings regarding the operating budget, tax levies, and millage rates, alongside updates on utility rate ordinances and a resolution supporting water system expansion in Wells Township.
