Marshall County Board Of Commissioners Meeting Minutes
The Board of Commissioners discussed and acted upon a variety of county operational matters. The Highway Department received approvals for road bore requests and bridge inspection contracts, and provided status updates on infrastructure projects, road programs, and funding reports. The board authorized a sick bank request for a human resources employee, approved equipment purchase and maintenance agreements for the Assessor's Office, and authorized the purchase of safety equipment for the Prosecutor's Office. Additionally, the board approved fire testing agreements for county buildings, a mutual aid agreement for the Emergency Management Agency, and federal capital fund requests for the Council on Aging. Other business included a presentation from the Economic Development Corporation, an update on ongoing legal litigation, and the approval of sidewalk improvements at the jail facility, as well as an initiative to explore countywide healthcare options.
