City Council Minutes
The council discussed and acted upon various items including the adoption of proclamations honoring individuals. Resolutions were passed regarding an Intergovernmental Agreement for bridge construction, an amendatory agreement for tenancy support services, the purchase of a vacuum truck for the Wastewater Division, and several on-call maintenance and repair contracts. The council also approved a lease amendment for a Department of Motor Vehicle office. Furthermore, numerous appointments and reappointments to boards and commissions were approved, including the American Indian Commission, African American Commission, Health & Hospital Authority Board, Broadway General Improvement District, Head Start Policy Council, Metro Water Recovery, Commission for People with Disabilities, Asian American Pacific Islander Commission, Commission on Cultural Affairs, and the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.
