Faculty and student speakers emphasized the symbolism of the white coat, representing commitment, trustworthiness, and the responsibility to provide ethical, safe, and effective care. Advice centered on embracing learning from mistakes, remaining genuine with patients, and making the most of upcoming clinical rotations by being proactive in seeking feedback.
