The court convened to hear arguments for two cases. In the first case, State of Ohio versus Alan Adkins Jr., both the appellant and appellee elected to rest on their previously filed briefs without further oral argument. In the second case, Ashraf Alfayez versus Infiniti of Columbus, the appellant presented arguments regarding a municipal court judgment, alleging defective repair work and violations of the Ohio Consumer Sales Practice Act, while the appellee waived oral argument.

The court session involved oral arguments for a case regarding the property division in a domestic relations appeal. The discussion centered on the trial court's evaluation of expert witness credibility, specifically regarding property valuation differences and the competency of evidence submitted in discovery depositions versus live testimony. Additionally, the court addressed challenges to the equitable nature of the property award, the inclusion of mortgage payments in the division, and the application of relevant statutes concerning property division equitable factors.
The court convened to review case 26395 involving the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney versus Raymond Iikenberger. The session focused on the argument regarding whether specific previous orders, including a motion to dismiss, constituted final appealable orders under the relevant civil rules. Counsel presented arguments asserting that these orders lacked the necessary finality to be appealed at this stage. The court took the matter under advisement after hearing the oral arguments, which also touched upon issues of judicial immunity and statute of limitations.
