Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board Regular Board Meeting
The Board meeting included presentations from Mesa Community College student life representatives, the Faculty Executive Council, the Adjunct Faculty Group, and Staff Representation co-presidents. The Board approved several items, including Faculty Emeritus distinctions for six individuals, multiple grant acceptances from the National Science Foundation and the Arizona Department of Education, various intergovernmental agreements, and purchase orders for facility services, video wall replacements, electrical infrastructure, and painting. Additionally, the Board approved updated Mission, Vision, Values, and Purpose statements for Gateway and South Mountain Community Colleges, revised adopted budgets for Phoenix College Preparatory Academy and Gateway Early College High School, and conducted a first read of several new Governing Board policies regarding work locations, investigations, disciplinary action, and employee conduct.
