Town of Mills River Parks, Trails, and Recreation Advisory Committee Regular Meeting

The committee discussed updates regarding the town's newly adopted strategic plan. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to a fee schedule review for park amenities, which had not been adjusted in 14 years. The committee voted to propose rate increases to the Council for the Willow Oak Shelter rental, field rentals for practice and game use, and additional staff charges. Future agenda items were also identified, including discussions on special event policies, picnic shelter policies, and the potential addition of program scholarships.
