The meeting featured a public hearing regarding a formal request for an amendment to the conditions of approval for a sewer pump station upgrade at 12 Jaxbridge Road. Discussions centered on the proposed performance guarantee agreement between the owner and the town, which involves a cash surety to secure the project's completion. Board members raised concerns regarding potential taxpayer liability, the need for review by the town attorney, and the technical specifications of the pump station, as the town may eventually take ownership of the facility.
