Cape May Shade Tree Commission Meeting
The Commission reviewed and approved two requests from property owners for the removal of trees. The first request involved an invasive mimosa tree on Gurnie Street, which was approved contingent upon the planting of two native replacement trees. The second request concerned a black locust tree on Kernney Avenue that was causing foundation damage; this removal was also approved with a requirement for a two-for-one replacement with native species.
