It is structured around five strategic pillars: Safer People, Safer Vehicles, Safer Roads, Safer Speeds, and Post-Crash Care. The plan aims to achieve its vision by enhancing safety corridor programs, promoting advanced vehicle technologies, improving road infrastructure and local safety plans, managing traffic speeds through various initiatives, and optimizing post-crash response, data linkage, and judicial outreach.

This Stormwater Management Plan outlines the Kansas Department of Transportation's program to protect and improve stormwater runoff quality and comply with its TS4 Permit for the period of 2024-2028. The plan focuses on six minimum control measures: Public Education and Outreach, Public Involvement and Participation, Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination, Construction Site Stormwater Runoff Control, Post-Construction Stormwater Management, and Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping. It aims to reduce pollutant discharge to the maximum extent practicable, implement best management practices, and satisfy federal and state water quality regulations.

The Kansas Emerging Aviation Technology Working Group meeting covered topics such as Advanced Air Mobility, emerging aviation technology, electrification, infrastructure improvements, manufacturing, support services, workforce development, education, outreach, and economic impact. It was emphasized that Kansas needs a united front to grow the industry, reduce redundancies, and fill voids. The group also discussed the importance of making meaningful connections and acting on developed strategies. Miter group discussed the engagement effort for the state of Kansas to roadmap AAM. The KSU representatives provided a campus view, vision and priorities in terms of supporting aviation, aerospace and technology.
