This handbook outlines the Beekmantown Central School District's Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model, a comprehensive framework integrating academics, behavior, and social-emotional learning. The plan is structured around a three-tiered system (universal, targeted, intensive) with a strong foundation in quality Tier I instruction. Key focus areas include universal screening, data-driven decision-making, progress monitoring, and specific intervention pathways for reading, math, and social-emotional support. The overarching goal is to proactively identify and support at-risk students through evidence-based practices, fostering successful educational outcomes and overall student wellness.
