The board meeting agenda included a presentation by Dave Rothe regarding Hunters Safety and TEAM training, alongside financial and administrative reports. Action items featured the approval of a budget resolution for the HISD, the appointment of a junior high track coach, and multiple teacher tenure and probationary status recommendations. Additionally, the board planned to discuss the Junior High curriculum provided by Graduation Alliance and address contract negotiations in a closed session.

The board convened for an informational session featuring a presentation on MSTEP, PSAT, and SAT data. Additionally, a presentation was conducted regarding the HMH Reading Series Proposal in connection with a 35M grant. Due to the absence of a quorum, no formal action items were processed.

The committee held a meeting to discuss NEOLA policies.

The board conducted its annual reorganization by appointing new officers and establishing meeting schedules, compensation, and committee assignments. Financial reports for the previous two months were reviewed and accepted, along with the designation of bank depositories and legal counsel. The board approved several personnel new hires, including coaching positions and paraprofessionals. Additionally, actions included approving the Robotics out of state trip, accepting a new Fine Arts credit, and conducting a closed session for the Superintendent's self-evaluation. Several students and staff members were formally commended for their achievements over the preceding two months.

The committee and the superintendent conducted a site visit of the Church Hall area to evaluate the property and determine an action plan for its future use.
