Scituate Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting
The Board conducted a hearing to discuss property applications, specifically focusing on an application by Beach Boy Realty Trust to divide a lot at 74 and 74C Glades Road. The applicant requested the division to facilitate separate insurance coverage for structures on the property following a fire. The Board debated whether the structures met the criteria for a dwelling prior to the adoption of zoning bylaws in 1947, which is required for the requested 81L subdivision exemption. The Board also addressed a continuance request for a separate application by South River Marina LLC. Due to concerns regarding the evidentiary requirements for the zoning relief, the Board granted a continuance to allow the applicant to provide additional documentation.
