It aims to meet the educational needs of every student through continuous improvement in teaching and learning, increase student success via rigorous experiences and strong family/community partnerships, attract and retain exceptional educators and support staff for academic excellence, and ensure responsible resource management through transparent financial practices. The plan's vision is to foster a culture of lifelong learning and prepare all students for future success in a safe and equitable environment.

The board meeting featured a recognition ceremony for the student members of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) who achieved success at the national competition level. The discussion highlighted the leadership and classroom skills students developed through their projects, including achievements in interactive bulletin board design and the authorship of children's books in Spanish. Additionally, the board recognized a student for their service as an area officer.

The Board of Trustees convened for a budget workshop; however, because a quorum was not established, the meeting was not considered an official proceeding and no formal actions were taken.

The agenda includes a public hearing on the proposed tax rate and budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Key business items cover the approval of final 2024-2025 budget amendments, the adoption of the 2025-2026 budget, approval of the 2025 tax roll, and the determination of tax rates. Additionally, the Board will consider an adjunct faculty agreement, designation of officers, school meal purchases, a tax collection contract with Waller County, an athletic trainer contract, and the implementation process for school library materials.
