During the city council meeting, the council unanimously approved a resolution for the renovation of Peace Park, which involves preserving the main tepee structure and upgrading playground components with durable materials. Additionally, the council held a public hearing on a proposed ordinance regarding development projects and land conveyance for the GM Jacko property, ultimately voting to forward the measure to the November general election ballot.

The Council held a workshop and a subsequent meeting regarding data center developments and water utility management.
