The council also addressed an ordinance to remove accessible parking signage at 2023 Baxter Avenue, a resolution requiring the repair of the Hammond Avenue at-grade railroad crossing, and the designation of financial institutions and investment firms as city depositories. The committee discussed and recommended approval for updated job descriptions for the Manager of Programming and Partnerships, Manager of Public Services, and Manager of Youth and Family Resources. The committee reviewed 2025 carryover and reserve amounts, including cash flow projections and potential capital improvement projects. Additionally, the committee reviewed the calculation formulas and historical data regarding county reimbursement requests, noting a projected increase in the request to Douglas County for the upcoming year due to the inclusion of capital costs.

The Commission discussed several new business items, including reports on historic properties management, the design and funding for the Hammond Playground project, the acquisition of funds for the 44th Avenue East Dock Project, and the transition to Finnly Sport software. Additionally, the commission reviewed plans for upcoming event openings, old business regarding land lease agreements and capital improvement plans, and updates from the director and superintendent. A proposal was introduced to honor volunteer contributions by naming the pavilion at Woodstock Bay Park after Pat Currie and Gene Rosburg, and the commission addressed recreational and special event grant recommendations and the Benny Peterson playground replacement project.
