Wayne County Commissioners Regular Meeting
The Board of Wayne County Commissioners approved a wide range of resolutions during their regular session. These included financial matters such as the approval of county and county home bills, appropriation and fund transfers, and special event expenses. Personnel actions were taken, including dispatch and care center staffing changes, as well as the approval of updates to the Personnel Policy Manual. The Board authorized the acceptance of a grant award from the Ohio State Emergency Response Commission, accepted tax levies determined by the Budget Commission, and approved the retirement of a K-9 unit. Additionally, the Board awarded a contract for janitorial and cleaning services and approved change orders for the Barnes Preserve Restoration Project and a service agreement with Healing Partners.
