Middlefield Ny Zoning Board Of Appeals Hearing Minutes
The board reviewed a use variance application for property located at 1270 County Highway 33, where three RVs were being utilized as rental units for medical professionals in violation of local zoning ordinances. The board evaluated the application against four mandatory New York State legal criteria for granting a use variance, including financial hardship, unique circumstances, neighborhood character, and whether the hardship was self-created. The board also considered a neighbor's concerns regarding septic and drainage issues. Ultimately, the board determined that the required criteria were not satisfied and denied the variance request.
