The Lindenwold Public Schools District Strategic Plan, guided by the vision of delivering equitable, rigorous, and responsive educational experiences, aims to empower a proud and connected community where individuals thrive. The plan is built upon four pillars: Instructional Excellence, Culture, Climate & Communication, Student Success & Well-Being, and Professional & Organizational Capacity. The meeting was advertised on March 7th, 2024. The board discussed Safety and Security, systems that could be used, practices in the district, metal detectors, and the Safety and Security consultant bio. The consultant shared his perspective on school security in the U.S., deployment of security Technologies and scene Technologies.
The event included a performance of the Black national anthem, a play, a song about the Underground Railroad, and a poem called BLM.
The meeting addressed school safety measures in light of the events in Newtown, Connecticut. Discussions included security plans, safety drills, and collaboration between the school district, police, and fire departments. The meeting included updates and recognition of students of the month. A job fair at LOL High School on April 25th and community informational sessions in early May were announced. There was recognition of Egypt B for her athletic achievements. The solar eclipse was embraced at Linda W Middle School with students using certified solar viewing glasses. Preschool Lottery and Kindergarten registration are underway, with May 1st as the final day for lottery registration. Family map night is scheduled on April 17th and school for Spring Fling is scheduled on the 18th.
